Don't forget to register for the SCA Statewide Chess Championships by April 1 or the price goes up.
April 9-10 at the Breck School at 123 Ottawa Ave in Golden Valley
To register, go to www.schoolchess.org, select the statewide button then registration form.
Print out the registration form, fill it in and mail in by April 1. Questions? Call Bill at 451-8412

We did quite well at the tournament. After round 3 we had more wins than losses. We did even better than our ratings would indicate.

March 7 Ratings and News

State Championships for Elementary Schools is coming up. I think our school will do well. I'd like to encourage anyone interested - especially those rated 300, or headed that way by April 9-10, to come. I think you'd have a lot of fun. It's a two day event. Registering ahead of time saves a lot of money so don't wait until a few days before. Get registration forms from me or go online at schoolchess.org
