 and KQ vs K (after your opponent moves to the edge, put your queen on the second row)

Advanced players learned about the King's gambit (better and longer video) and how Abby Marshall used it to win the 2009 Denker Tournament
We also went through the ending of one of Akiba Rubinstein's games to see how to push a passed pawn.

Beginners learned about checkmate and stalemate and
learned how to checkmate with two rooks and with a king and queen.
Advanced players learned the Giuocco Piano, Fried Liver, Ruy Lopez openings
and the value of putting your rook on the 7th rank in the endgame - then fight
with your king to queen a passed pawn.
