Jan 8th Tournament

I know we haven't even started yet, but there is a team tournament on Jan 8 at Metcalf in Burnsville. We need a team of five players.

I have a database that I keep that uses the Harkness System for rating chess players. I have written a computer program that allows me to retrieve tournament data from the SCA website and run it through the rating system. I have done this for every tournament SCA has ever run. So I do have accurate relative ratings. Because the SCA data is composed of children who are rapidly improving, the ratings tend to be low (vs USCF rating where children get to make big gains by beating adults with higher ratings) so I hesitate to publish them. However, using those ratings, I'd like to name the starting team. Also note that registration is not yet complete, so there may be others that push some further down the list.

Board 1: Dincer, Ethan
Board 2: Long, Michaela
Board 3: Mockovak, Jules
Board 4: Scufsa, Addison
Board 5: Robinson, Joseph
1st alternate: Campbell, Chase (in case someone can't make it)

Of course, everyone else can come and participate in the open section of the tournament.
